Reviews from our Guests

My wife, Renee, and I stayed there this past Friday. It was a terrific stay. Donna was a wonderful host with a great breakfast. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The guests from out of town were very welcoming and wonderful to talk with. We enjoyed walking down to the theater to catch the show. This is truly a great stay. This was not our first time staying there, and it certainly will not be our last.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lexington House. Donna is a gracious host, and her breakfasts are spectacular. Everything is within walking distance, including the great views of Lake Huron. The moon was so beautiful over the water. Pictures don't do it justice. Scoops Ice Cream is really good too... walk to dinner in town, and dessert after back at the B&B. (Or maybe even before dinner 😀) We for sure would come back! Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay with Donna as our host. The home is well-appointed, and the rooms are spacious. A plentiful breakfast is served in the morning (we weren't hungry for lunch), and snacks and baked treats are available in the parlor all day. It was relaxing to enjoy a glass of our wine on the flagstone patio while admiring the full flower gardens. Thank you, Donna, for a nice few days away from home!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at Lexington House. This iconic (circa 1870) house is charming and thoughtfully appointed with endless personal touches making it comfortable and warm throughout. The grounds were well-maintained and the perennial gardens were gorgeous and fully in bloom.

Downtown Lexington is peaceful and relaxing. There were a surprising number of good dining options very near our B&B. We enjoyed the harbor as well as the sunset and many deer we saw while randomly exploring the side roads a few miles west of town. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed... good shower and bed... luxurious pillows, linens and towels. Coffee, tea and fresh water were available in the hallway outside our door. The proprietor, Donna, was a wonderful host. She took time to personally connect with us, make us feel welcome and answer our questions. She not only prepared and served a great breakfast, but also joined us and the other guests. This made for good conversation and interesting tidbits about the B&B and the surrounding area. Check-out included a warm hug.

My first time staying at a B&B and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the rooms were, and how CLEAN! Our room was so charming, the bathroom was spacious and clean, the grounds are beautiful, and the owner is wonderful. I didn't get a chance to have breakfast there, but my mother did and was blown away by the fresh pastries, and great convo with other guests. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Lexington. And, it's within walking distance to downtown and the water! Definitely check out the Windjammer restaurant, and all the small shops. I was here one night only for work, and had a very nice time.
